Sam Lasher ’25
Follow along on this four-part series by Sam Lasher (History and Political Science, ’25) based on research from the summer of 2023, funded by the Program for Undergraduate Research. Sam spent time both at Bucknell and in the Adirondacks with the guidance of Professor Claire Campbell. Sam’s research took him back to his family roots. He learned and discovered about the human mark on the Adirondacks and the creation of ”forever wild.”

In the Spring of 2025, History Major Claire Jenkins curated an exhibit in the Bertrand Library Entrance after her research in the University Archives uncovered a collections of scrapbooks. She found a love of finding history within the scrapbooks that inspired her History 400 paper, and her first public exhibit.
