Bucknell History majors create their own paths to develop essential intellectual skills. We will encourage you to take courses from across place and time – from medieval Europe to contemporary Latin America, from colonial America to modern Africa; and courses that explore different ways of understanding the past.

The History Major Consists of 9 total History Courses:
- 1 -HIST 100 level course
- 1 – Course in Africa; East, South or Southeast Asia; Latin America or Middle East
- 1 – Pre-Modern Course
- 2 – HIST 300 courses
- Complete HIST 400 or write an Honors Thesis
